Dawson Construction completed a comprehensive renovation of the Smithson Valley baseball facility, transforming it into one of the premier grass fields in the region. The scope included new dugouts, locker rooms, training areas, press box, concession stand, bullpens, fencing, backstop netting, warning track, and upgraded Musco lighting. Delivered in under six months, the project was completed on schedule and ready for opening day.
To support growing enrollment, Dawson Construction constructed classroom additions at Klein Road Elementary and Voss Farms Elementary on fully operational campuses. Construction was planned around school schedules, a chilled-water line conflict was resolved during the holiday break, and new spaces were seamlessly blended with existing structures. The project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
Dawson Construction delivered multiple upgrades to support Davenport High School’s expanding agricultural program. The project included construction of a new 7,500 square foot steer and lamb barn, renovation of the existing 7,500 square foot Ag Barn with new heaters, water access, trench drains, HVLS fans, and upgraded pens, and a new 1,500 square foot poultry barn with dedicated systems for animal care. The completed facilities provide modern, student-ready spaces designed for safe, efficient, hands-on learning.
