The Smithson Valley community sought to modernize key campus spaces and athletic facilities to better support students, faculty, and extracurricular programs. Dawson Construction completed multiple projects with distinct scopes, tight schedules, and seasonal constraints. One of the key projects in this package was a complete renovation to the Baseball Facility.
The Baseball Facility Upgrade transformed the campus into one of the premier grass baseball fields in the region. The scope included new dugouts, locker rooms, concession stand, press box, training facilities, bullpens, fencing, backstop netting, warning track, and upgrades to the Musco lighting system. The project was completed in just under six months—ready for opening day—and celebrated with a community-wide grand opening.
Through disciplined scheduling and high-quality execution, Dawson Construction delivered a premier athletic facility that elevated daily campus life and strengthened the athletic program.
