As a $34 million initiative, the playground projects replaced outdated play areas on 14 Comal ISD campuses with modern, purpose‑built recreation spaces. Each site underwent extensive demolition, site work, and concrete installation before receiving new drainage systems, artificial turf, upgraded sports courts, and innovative playground components with shaded structures—creating safer, cleaner, and more engaging environments for students.
